Michaeli Witney is a professional cellist whose playing has been heard by millions worldwide. She has performed and recorded on numerous Hillsong Worship albums and featured at major live conferences, contributing to some of the most influential worship music of the past decade.

Her cello performance appears on the Grammy Award-winning song “What A Beautiful Name” (2018 Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song). She performed on both the original recording and live performances, shaping its rich, emotional sound. Michaeli also performed on the globally renowned worship anthem “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)”, sung by TAYA, a song that continues to resonate deeply with audiences worldwide.

Beyond large-scale recordings and conferences, Michaeli performs regularly across a wide range of settings — from intimate acoustic collaborations, including her duo with Kyle Moore, to leading her own string ensemble, Veritas Strings. Her playing bridges classical technique and contemporary expression, bringing warmth, depth, and presence to every performance.
