String Teaching

Michaeli is an experienced cello teacher with a rich background in performance, studio recording, string ensemble conducting, and instrumental instruction. She has taught students of all ages and abilities and brings a broad, well-rounded perspective to her teaching. As a trained classroom teacher, Michaeli is well equipped to prepare students for AMEB examinations and HSC performance requirements.

Her teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that everyone can learn to play the cello, regardless of age or prior experience. Michaeli draws on a range of teaching approaches to ensure lessons are engaging, effective, and tailored to each student’s learning style and goals.
